Energy Cap Kondensator
Our low inductance, self-sealing Energy Cap in all standard sizes is the epitome of DC link capacitors. The robust design, the long life and the high currents guarantee high reliability, M6 female or M8 male connections, capacities from 200µF- 3300µF, voltages from 700Vdc - 1500Vdc, temperature range of -40°C – 85°C, other specifications on request.
Main areas of use are industrial applications, renewable energies and railway technology.

Energy Cap Kondensator mit unterschiedlichen Terminals
The same technical properties as the standard Energy Cap series, but with terminals of different heights for convenient bus bar mounting.
This makes mounting of different levels easier and less expensive, since no additional spacer is needed; in addition, it guarantees a solid and secure connection. The same screws can be used for both terminals, since they have the same thread depth.
Since FTCAP manufactures the terminals in-house, any desired height is possible – at the price of standard terminals. The terminals can be designed with female threads or male threads.

Energy Cap Kondensator mit Mittelabgriff
A third connection terminal opens up new areas of application for the customer. This makes it possible to use the two single capacities in series, for example, to double the dielectric strength, or in parallel to double the capacity with twice the current-carrying capacity and half the series resistance (ESR). The two internal single capacitors are symmetrical and always have the same properties, due to the identical design.

Energy Cap Kondensator im Kupferbecher
The enclosed copper cup design allows us to increase the capacity and current by 20 % without changing the size. The solid design and intelligent choice of materials enable inductances of less than 10 nH. The optimised thermal design ensures a long life. Following standard practice, the capacitor could be isolated and would therefore be potential free. It can be mounted either with a ring clamp or a mounting bolt.
